User interface for map editor has been changed so that it is more accesssible on mobile devices through browser.
We are moving from Geofoobar being pure map video editor towards Geofoobar as new social media for travelers.
The map editing functionality stays the same and will keep improving in the future. But for now the major change is that you can create and share your travel stories including text, images, videos and of course maps.

The animated maps you create are still stored temporarilly in the Downloads section, but now they are also stored permanently in media galery, so that you can use them in your stories.
Stories are private to you by default, but you can make them public and share them on Geofoobar and via link also on other social media.

Tracks can now be created not only by importing GPX files or recorded by Geofoobar app. They can also be created manually by drawing waypoints in the map. This is useful when you are just planning your trip, or you did not have chance to record it.
Number of waypoints for free account is limited.

Every trip is now listed with thumbnail image for better visibility. The thumbnail is refreshed every time you create video or save render settings.
Trips can be now searched by names.
Trips can be now searched in the map. The locations of trips are defined as the start of the first track within the trip. If there are not tracks, the trip will not show in the map.
"Render settings" tab has been renamed to "Preview & Render". The "Export to MP4" button is now located in the "Preview & Render" tab and is renamed to "Export to video".
"Hide tracks" function has been moved to "Preview & Render".
New background map (Vintage) has been added for Personal subscribers.
You can now use various fonts for Location labels. This is a subset of Google fonts. There are many more fonts in Google fonts. If you want to see any more of them in Geofoobar and you are Personal subscriber, please get in touch via email.
Fixed: When Render settings are saved, the extent now stays in place and does not change with every switch of the tabs.
Fixed: When splitting tracks, the time coordinate interpolates correctly.

Fixed: Kml files containing many separate lines, which are actually representing one track are now joined automatically during import.
New Split tracks tool is now available. Users can split tracks in order to delete parts of them or to style them separately.
